At the CCS Bard Video Gallery / CCS Bard Library, Joe / Brain / Lamar will be on view until April 1st. It is "a multi format program addressing questions of archive, memory, and the genealogy of queer culture." Included in the exhibit is a new film by Matt Wolf entitled, I Remember: A Film About Joe Brainard . The exhibit is curated by Nathan Lee, who will be curating our annual La Mama Galleria show this summer.
Starting March 15th, running to April 21, the Tibor de Nagy Gallery will be exhibiting Brainard's work in a show entitled, Painting the Way I Wish I Could Talk. In part, the show is a celebration of the publication by The Library of America, of The Collected Writings of Joe Brainard, edited by Ron Padgett, with introduction by Paul Auster.
